?ufumbira

I saw several signs in town today with the word 'Bufumbira' on them. This is disturbingly close to what I thought was the word for the local language, Rufumbira. Am I just being paranoid? I've gotten things like this wrong before, for a lot longer then 5 days.

Presumably there might some interesting explanation here. Like maybe R is the language and B is the ethnicity? Or you use R when speaking and B when writing? Hopefully

If someone out there has the answer to this question, please edjimicate me. I'm happy to complete a standard 7-10 day course of self-embarrassment, but would rather not develop a chronic condition.
